The NSW Government has announced that advanced ‘smart’ meters will be made available to electricity customers across NSW,
through a voluntary market-led rollout designed to ensure there is customer choice and competition in metering services.
New regulatory settings support a market-led roll out of smart meters and ensure consumer protection, safety standards and privacy are maintained.
Smart meters may only be installed by electricians licensed in NSW.
This App allows installing electricians to record simple details of smart meters installations in real time.
